Delivery Charges and Information
We've tried to keep our posting system simple - we like it better that way !
So for the time being at least we are only offering online shipping to the UK (mainland + Highlands and Islands).
(OUTSIDE OF THE UK we're still happy to send items to you but the system of calculating postal costs is complex so we'd like to deal with anything outside the UK on an order-specific basis. Just email us your order and we'll reply with a shipping quote.)
THE UK SHIPPING COSTS WILL BE CALCULATED AUTOMATICALLY BY THE SHOPPING CART WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER.
The cost will always be the cheapest option possible depending on the items you've selected. Quite clever really ! Below are the rules the system is following - essentially 3 tariffs based on the
weight of the items you've selected;
TARRIFF 1 - Small items up to 0.5kg - £2.50 flat fee.
For the smaller items like single chalk balls, nut keys we use Royal Mail First Class.
TARRIFF 2 - Medium weights and multiple small items up to 2Kg - £6.90 flat fee.
Medium pack such as single packs of screws/bolts or 3-4 mugs. 3 or 4 packs of screws/bolts or over 10 mugs will end up going DHL as below rates.
TARRIFF 3 - Heavy items
Within UK our main carrier for all the heavy/bulky holds is to be DHL on their standard NEXT DAY
DELIVERY service at a flat rate of £9.72 per package of up to 30kg. On multiple orders of hold sets we will pack them together into one package up to the 30kg limit - over this weight your order will be split into two packages and two shipping charges of £9.72 will be charged.
ALL ORDERS OVER £400 ARE DELIVERED FREE
For Highlands and outer islands, we're sorry, but delivery has a premium that we have to pass on to you. This applies to the bulky items delivered by DHL only. The conditions and details are the same as above, it's just the charge that increases from £9.72 to £13.23 per package.
However, again any orders over £400 will be delivered free.
The postcodes affected by the higher delivery charge are listed below, but again this worked out automatically by our system.
