RoSPA and BSI
Our fall surfaces comply with BS EN1177 laid down by the British Stanards Institude (BSI) in conjunction with it's European Counterpart and we follow RoSPA recommendations pertaining to fall surfaces as per their Sheet 32.
The main points to bear in mind when considering a surface are that they offer more protection in the event of a fall or slip than say, tarmac, but do not prevent accidents in the first place or stop injuries altogether. The equipment the surface is laid around should still be used in a proper manner, and according to the manufacturers guidelines.
Full details of these regulations can be found on the RoSPA or BSI websites.
