Traverse walls and the Curriculum for Excellence

Our dream is to have a climbing wall in every school in the country!

The Curriculum for Excellence has meant that schools must find new interesting methods and tools for educating children. School Traverse Walls are a doorway to the Outdoors, to Life Long participation in a new sport that is also great for targeting and increasing female participation in sport. Our walls can be used for Physical Education as well as mentally for numeracy and literacy through games. Socially kids can cooperate together, build self confidence, achieve success and communicate through games and coaching sessions.

Many of our installations have been coordinated by pupil councils - negotiating prices, quotes and installation dates. They get the product they want, then see it through to teaching other class mates how best to use the new traverse walls.  Some are pretty sharp business men and women already!
